For our client we are searching for a Senior System Integration Specialist

Must be residing in UK and have the right to work in UK.

About the role:

As a Senior system integration specialist, you will lead the development, maintenance and support of system-to-system integrations as part of the enterprise architecture.

You will also play a key part in the roll out of our clients MuleSoft integration platform and sit within the Analytics and Data Projects team. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain new integrations, and changes to existing integrations
  • Design integration solutions and document the design in accordance with best practice
  • Support development on resolving system defects, acting as liaison, and developing solutions
  • Participate in testing and release cycles.
  • Write unit tests.

Key Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge and working experience of integrating with APIs.
  • Experience with Java or at least another Object-Oriented language.
  • Working knowledge of HTTP, in particular request/response patterns, REST and common Methods (GET/POST/PUT/DELETE/PATCH)
  • Knowledge and experience of database design concepts and usage.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to debug existing work.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies.Good technical documentation skills and ability to produce clear diagrams to document complex information systems and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of XML, JSON, and YAML data formats.
  • Understanding of pub/sub messaging patterns.
